Ana is a contemporary jewelry artist whose work captures “wearable moments” inspired by her travels and the world around her. She started her jewelry brand, Lucky Banana Nugget, in 2023 to explore the potential of jewelry as a story-telling device. She weaves wearable narratives by crafting assemblages of recognizable motifs capturing specific places, themes, or moments in time. Much of her work is directly inspired by her own experience of the world, often relayed with a playful twist. Her wearable vignettes are meticulously hand sculpted in polymer modeling clay, hand painted, and sealed with a glossy resin finish. Ana will occasionally incorporate vintage charms that she collects on her travels in her designs.
